- Record History – Seniors have an abundance of stories, accumulated through decades. Grab a video or tape recorder and record an oral history of their lives. They’ll feel important, and you’ll enjoy learning about the way things used to be.
- Cookbooks – Creating a cookbook together is another fun way that seniors can share their wisdom. I mean, who doesn’t want to know how grandma makes that special pie of hers?
- Electronic Games – Take a little time to teach your mom how to use the computer if they don’t already know. Computers have plenty of fun games, and great videos, that will keep your mom or dad entertained during their downtime!
